Yes — with automatic tracking enabled and location permissions granted (including background location), DashDeduct can detect and log trips without you having to open the app before every drive. You can toggle automatic tracking on or off in your app settings.
Common reasons include: (1) Location permissions are set to "While Using" instead of "Always" — change this in your device settings. (2) Battery saver or low-power mode is limiting background activity. (3) Background app refresh is disabled for DashDeduct. Check your device settings and ensure DashDeduct has full location access. If issues persist, contact support.
Yes. You can edit trip details (purpose, distance, date) or delete trips directly from the trip log in the app. We recommend reviewing your trips regularly before generating reports.
Yes. DashDeduct allows you to export mileage reports as PDF or CSV files. You can share these with your accountant or tax preparer. Remember: DashDeduct is an organizational tool — always have a qualified tax professional review your records before filing.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings page. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. If you need help canceling, email support@dashdeduct.com.
To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email support@dashdeduct.com with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
